Ruby red with a violet rim. High colour. Fine, slow, lightly stained tears.

Aromas of black fruit, blackcurrant and blackberry. Hints that recall Mediterranean undergrowth and spices such as white pepper. A wine that reflects the minerality of the terroir very well.

Tasty, powerful, fleshy, spicy, ripe fruit, balsamic notes and ripe tannins. Lasting aftertaste.

Varieties: 100% Carinyena.
Soils: Licorella – Limestone.
Vineyard age: 75 years.
Ageing: 24 months in French oak barrels (50% fifth-year barrels, 50% new barrels). 36 months in bottle (3 years).
Production: 1,815 bottles.
