Vintage 2023 · D.O. Montsant

Intense ruby red with a violet rim. Medium to high colour.

On the nose it shows aromas of red fruit such as strawberries, black fruit, and very marked floral notes of violets; as the wine breathes, balsamic and spicy aromas appear.

On the palate, a fine, well-integrated tannin, very good acidity, balsamic notes in which menthol and fresh eucalyptus stand out; it is intense, complex and persistent.

Varieties: 100% Garnatxa Negra.
Soils: 2 estates; 2 soils. Clay (Finca Verinxell), Limestone (Finca Les Pinyanes).
Vineyard age: 50 – 60 years.
Ageing: 14 months in French oak barrels. 12 months in bottle.
Production: 6,000 bottles.
